Clean room and comfy beds, but highway noise was annoying. Free parking was nice.

I had a pretty nice stay at Best Western Merced. The room felt clean and tidy. I appreciated the little touches like art designs for the toilet paper. The mini-fridge and microwave were convenient. The pool area looked clean, and I enjoyed a decent breakfast in the lobby. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. However, the location next to the freeway and nearby railroad tracks caused quite a bit of noise at night. The bed felt a bit outdated and uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. There were also some parking issues due to larger vehicles taking up multiple spaces. It’s a solid choice if you're okay with some noise and a few amenities needing an upgrade.

Basic fitness center provides a decent workout option after a long drive, and the pool area looks inviting for relaxation. Breakfast options are varied and tasty, keeping mornings enjoyable.
Parking situation is a hassle, especially with tight spaces and many guests not parked correctly. it’s a real puzzle at night. The noise from the nearby freeway is constant, making it hard to block out during sleep. The beds felt overly soft and left me waking up stiff, something to consider if you need good rest. Additionally, the bathroom had a lingering smell of cleaning products, which added to the discomfort.

Families beware of hidden dangers!
The room was pretty clean, and I was pleasantly surprised that the staff were friendly and accommodating. They had breakfast options, which my family appreciated, even though it was just basic stuff.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but you know, some things are just what you gotta deal with.

Had a fantastic stay with friends! The fitness center was great for post-travel workouts, and we enjoyed relaxing by the outdoor pool. The room was clean, and the breakfast had a nice selection. Just remember, the trains nearby can be a bit noisy at night.
One issue was the confusing new logo, which made the hotel hard to find initially.

The room was clean and air-conditioned, ensuring a comfortable stay despite the warm weather. Breakfast had an impressive variety, including freshly baked European bread and well-prepared hot items. The only downside was the highway noise and regular train sounds nearby, which could be distracting at times.

This place was just a proper fit for a quick break in Merced with fantastic value. The outside pool was nice, though a bit cloudy. Try to get a room away from the highway noise for better sleep.
