Strongly recommend for a stopover

Comfortable room, convenient location, with a refreshing pool for cooling down and a breakfast that was great, fresh, and promptly served.

I had a pretty nice stay at Best Western Merced. The room felt clean and tidy. I appreciated the little touches like art designs for the toilet paper. The mini-fridge and microwave were convenient. The pool area looked clean, and I enjoyed a decent breakfast in the lobby. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. However, the location next to the freeway and nearby railroad tracks caused quite a bit of noise at night. The bed felt a bit outdated and uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. There were also some parking issues due to larger vehicles taking up multiple spaces. It’s a solid choice if you're okay with some noise and a few amenities needing an upgrade.

Excellent hotel with free Wi-Fi, a fitness center, and friendly staff. They helped me return my headphones from my first stay, which I appreciate. I’ll be back for Easter!
